Restoring Progress for Denison Baptist Church

Yes the Restoration has begun. 

We have completed putting in new doors and windows for the front entrance and a new roof over Sanctuary.  

We are now in the process of painting & sealing the windows and putting up reflecting coating where needed.  

The doors and windows were put in by Carroll Glass.  

The roof was done thru R.L. Craft in Denison.  This was a challenging roof the removal of Asbestos tiles, R.L. Craft was the only company licensed in the area to do this type of work. The building is a 124 years old and we discovered that under the asbestos tiles was the original shingle roof.  We put a quality metal roof due to the pitch of the roof.  This roof has a 50 year warranty so we are good to go.  

Future Projects:   Some of our immediate work projects we are projecting to do are:   

•  Painting
•  Caulking crack in stucco, windows and etc..
•  Wood working.
•  Resetting and refinishing doors. 
• Electrical
• Landscaping

The projects that are being looked at for the near future, depending upon money and manpower are: 

1. Re-roofing the educational wing, offices and entry hallway
2. Gutters and fascia for educational wing
3. Windows for Pastors Office
4. Windows and door for south entrance
5. Lights for educational wing and basements. 
6. Sidewalks
7. Build a new enclosure for front entry for a double entry and coat room. 
8. Build a new enclosure for Basement entrance.
