Vision:

A Vision statement is a declaration of why we exist.  It is a statement of what we do and what we believe God desires to do in and thru us.   

  1. A community of people who passionately Love God self-sacrificially a) with our whole heart, b) with all our soul, c) all our mind, and d) all our strength. This should be seen in every part of our life, especially in our corporate life as a church during our worship together.   (MK 12:30)
  2. A community of people who loves self-sacrificially one another, loving others as we love ourselves.  (MK 12:31, Jh 13:34, 15:12, 1Jh 4:7-21)
  3. A community of people that is ethnically and culturally diverse yet demonstrating a oneness and unity as one body.  (Gen 12:3, Acts 2:5-12, 41-47, 6:1-7, 1 Cor 12:12-13, Gal 3:23-29)
  4. A community of people in obedience to the Great Commission, by going and making disciples of all peoples, incorporating them into local congregating, and teaching them to follow Christ, walking in obedience to His commands.    (Matt 28:18-20, Acts 1:8)
  5. A community of people that places value in the family and seek to integrate the family into whole of the church. (Eph 5:22-:4, Luke 15:11-32)
  6. A community of people of small groups for nurture and ministry and united as one body, one church in Christ.   (Exodus 18, Acts 2:42-47, Heb 10:24-25, 1 Pet 2:4-10)
    1. Small / Cell groups provide the intimate nurturing and personal care for individuals and families.
    2. Small / Cell groups allow for greater opportunities for people to serve according to their talents and giftedness as well as begin exercising in new areas a person seeks to explore.
    3. Small / Cell groups provides for more avenues for an individual to grow in maturity and in Christ likeness.
    4. Small / Cell groups provides avenues for “Natural Leadership Development”.  Learning the character qualities and skills of a Godly leader as well the as training and encouragement through close and personal relationships as one ministry unfolds one with another.
  7. A community of people who continue to strive together in growing in maturity in the Lord thru leadership development.  (1 Tim 3:1-13, Col 2:6-15)
